About The Artist
Melati Nicole Maupin (b. 2001) is a Black and Indonesian lens-based artist working in the Washington Metropolitan area.
She is currently supporting the photography and visuals team at National Geographic.
In her free time she can be found consuming copious amounts of prose poetry, making homemade jams, crying to NYT Modern Love podcast, having a quarter-life crisis, and dancing like it's no one's business.
